The petition says, “We, as members of IAGD, request IAGD Administration to approve an expansion plan that costs no more than $5.0 million and takes no more than 2 years to complete.”

Several people are circulating this petition. You can download and fill out the petition, returning it by mail to: PO Box 181037, Utica, MI 48318-1037. The address is also on the petition itself.

The letter that is sent to the community today(August 7th) by the president and vice president doesn’t highlight the problems that were raised by the community to them in March. The letter is highlighting that the only concern was money which is not true .The religious dimension ( that according to Fiqah Hanafi , you can not change the prayer area into anything else ..in this case a social hall….There is no dire need to change the existing prayer area into anything else and expansion is possible without breaking this rule).
The leadership who is leading a religious organization don’t have respect to the religious decree and think of themselves the ones who can decide whatever they want. Please don’t force people to start washing the dirty laundry of your DEMOCRATIC PROCESS in public .Lot of people who have worked with the administration in different commetties know how open these bosses are to the proposals when they are given by other than GREATER THAN THOUGH.
Speaking of the two members shows how much you pay heed to the ones who don’t belong to a certain ESTABLISHMENT GROUP.

ASAK. That letter was written by the President and Vice President of IAGD. Unless they give us explicit permission to do so, we cannot post the letter on this blog.
