The Alternate Expansion Plan—Plan H

ASAK. After receiving the following e-mail from the President of IAGD on August 4 at 3:24 PM addressed to me and my husband with copies to Fawaz Ahmad and Majid Khan:
Assalam alaikum
Please be aware that any distribution of materials on IAGD property not given prior approval by IAGD leadership is not permitted.
Any use of IAGD intellectual property outside of authorized use is not permitted.
I am removing this plan from the blog. It was my understanding that this was community property since the plans were paid for by IAGD community members.

Now is the high time for community to speak up .They have to give up the attitude of talking behind the walls and not to stand up when it is needed. The least they can do is to write in the survey that they can not accept any of the plans and are not ready to give money to the proposed plan(what they are saying in social gatherings). Its now or never.Allah SWT is witnessing that how strong you are in stoping the evil ,and giving up social contacts .
Bullying of handful of families that they want to do what they want to do and they damn care about the religious aspect of the project depicts their TAKABBUR.InshaAllah ALLAH SWT will take care of the TAKABBUR but it is also a test for the community to do their part of “doing the good and stoping the evil”.
You may end up into a back home type of a regime if you don’t stand up for the right thing and next generations may turn the prayer halls into whatever they want to because of the given precedence.

They don’t bother to care about the religious aspects of the project because there are NO religious minded people in BOD/ BOT.
They dont bother to ask or get religious concerns from any of the imams.
Imams are just hired employees to them.
People should come and observe the proceedings of board meetings on Sundays after  every monthly dinner as they are open to public and you will see HOW RELIGIOUS these people are!!
Several drawings  have been made for the new building but  nobody cares that there should be separate entrances for ladies in the  prayer area AND  for the social hall too so the segregated gatherings can be possible for those who want it.

Though I agree that there have been some missteps by the leadership- we can not claim to know what is in their hearts. Please keep this forum civilized. Share thoughts in a thoughtful and dignified way – despite how hard that may be given the build-up of discontent. Voice your views while remembering that tomorrow Allah can turn the table & leave others questioning your true intentions. Criticise/judge the error – not the one making the error. This is intended to be a gentle reminder- I mean no disrespect.
